Canadians and Ecuadorians alike will benefit from the efficiencies created and economic opportunity afforded by increased trade between our two countries. The two countries' economies are highly complimentary, including in agri-food.

Though we still need to see the exact details of the agreement to have a full picture, CAFTA has long supported these negotiations with Ecuador. CAFTA is pleased to see positive messages of commitment to rules-based trade at this time of growing international uncertainty.
